What is a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional?
-
A Licensed Legal Paraprofessional (LLP) is a highly trained and limited licensed professional authorized to provide specific legal services independently.
In Colorado, LLPs:
-
Are licensed within a particular scope, allowing them to represent clients in certain family law matters, such as divorce, child custody, and support cases.
-
Offer legal advice, prepare and file documents, and can appear in court.
-
Provide a cost-effective alternative to traditional legal representation, making legal services more accessible and affordable while maintaining high standards of expertise and professionalism.

My. Story.
Aquarian Legal was born from my dual vision: supporting family law parties with flexible, high-quality representation and my desire to increase access to justice in legal services. I aim to provide a lifeline to those caught between qualifying for low-income assistance and affording traditional representation. My professional background includes a bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, and licensure as a Licensed Legal Paraprofessional in Colorado. I strive to offer a spectrum of services: direct legal counsel for family law cases, subscription services for ongoing support, and educational materials for self-represented litigants.

My business philosophy is deeply rooted in my core values of integrity, compassion, and education. I believe in empowering my clients, whether they're seeking efficient support or self-navigating the complexities of family law. This ethos was profoundly shaped by my mentor, whose passing in August 2024 inspired me to forge my own path and create a lasting, positive impact in the legal community. When not in the throes of divorce and custody cases, I spend time with my two Border Collies and spouse as well as spending quality time with loved ones. I enjoy crafting and learning new hobbies, as well as soaking up podcasts and playing video games.
