In this book, Lang shares her full journey from survivor to healer, inviting readers into the intimate story of how her family's pain became her life's purpose—and how your pain can become your power.
My Story.
Born in Cambodia, Lang survived the Khmer Rouge regime, one of history's
darkest chapters, and came to the United States as a refugee with her family.
They carried dreams of freedom and opportunity, but also the invisible
wounds of trauma that no one could see. While her family achieved material
success in America, Lang witnessed firsthand how unresolved trauma
continued to manifest in their lives through physical pain, emotional suffering, and limited joy.
This revelation became her calling. Determined to find healing methods that address the root cause of pain rather than merely treating symptoms, Lang
immersed herself in the study of Acupressure Therapy (acupuncture without needles), Craniosacral Therapy, Somatic Trauma Release Therapy, and
Splankna Therapy. She developed a unique approach that bridges ancient
Eastern wisdom with contemporary Western understanding of the mind-body connection, creating a pathway to healing that honors both tradition and
innovation.
Lang's core message is both simple and revolutionary: suppressed emotions
manifest as pain. When trauma is stored in the body, it doesn't simply disappear; it creates patterns of suffering that affect every aspect of life. Through her specialized techniques, she helps clients release these stored emotions, break free from cycles of pain, and reclaim their innate capacity for joy, creativity, and success.
As a passionate advocate for women's wellness, resilience, and economic
empowerment, Lang has worked extensively with leaders, entrepreneurs, and high achievers who recognize that their unhealed trauma is the invisible
barrier limiting their impact and happiness. Her expertise bridges the gap
between trauma recovery and sustainable leadership, offering holistic
strategies that transform not just individuals, but entire organizations and
communities.
Lang's insights on the role of somatic healing in leadership, productivity, and
community development are groundbreaking. She explores how unresolved trauma affects decision-making, innovation, and economic participation, and demonstrates how healing the body leads to stronger leadership, empowered communities, and economic transformation. Her work reveals that personal healing isn't separate from professional success; it's the foundation upon which authentic leadership and sustainable impact are built.
Through her practice, C.H.A. Family Wellness, in Colorado Springs, Colorado,
workshops, and speaking engagements, Lang has helped hundreds of clients
release trauma, step into their power, and manifest futures they once thought
impossible. Her clients include entrepreneurs breaking through business plateaus, leaders seeking to amplify their impact, and changemakers
committed to creating ripple effects of healing in their communities.
Lang’s work is more than therapy; it's a movement toward empowerment,
strength, and lasting transformation. She continues to fulfill her mission:
transforming economies, communities, and societies by helping people heal
from the inside out, one person at a time.
